I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.
Welcome to our "Instruments and Elements" exhibit! This unique showcase features a variety of musical instruments and tools that have been fused with natural elements, giving them a weathered and distressed appearance.
You will see guitars, pianos, and other instruments that have been submerged in water or exposed to the elements, giving them a unique and rugged look. These pieces have been carefully crafted to highlight the beauty of nature's influence on man-made objects.
In addition to the instruments themselves, you will also see tools of the trade that have been transformed by nature. From sunken drum sets to rusting metronomes, each piece in this exhibit showcases the power of the natural world to shape and alter our creations.
We hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind exhibit and the opportunity to see musical instruments and tools in a whole new light.
Edward Fassio, also known by his creative moniker "iTCHY," is a Pacific Northwest native who draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including nature, personal experiences, music, theology and science. Fassio has a unique way of interpreting art, often considering how objects would look if they were thrown into the water, sunk, dropped in the mud, or left outside in the cold snow and ice. Through this process, he reflects on how life, objects, time and mortality co-exist and how external elements can affect transformation and feelings. Additionally, he is drawn to certain landscapes that convey internal emotions based on seasons of change and elemental factors.
